Legendary Hospitality in the heart of Downtown Halifax are looking for Hosts to join our front of house teams at Durty Nelly's. We are looking for a passionate hard working individuals to join our team Our core values are focused around the people we employ and the customers we serve and we are looking for like-minded individuals.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for assisting the front of house teams in opening and closing duties
- Have a thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menus
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and food safety policies
- Responsible to maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
- Running food and drink to tables
- Clearing dish and glassware from tables
- Seating guests and maintaining the flow of patrons within the pub
- Stocking server stations, rolling cutlery, and notifying management of inventory shortages of front of house supplies
- Answering calls and taking reservations
- Deliver a Legendary guest experience
**About you**
- 1+ years support in a fast paced restaurant an asset
- A working knowledge of cuisine is an asset
- Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic
- Advanced English language skills
**Work Environment**
- Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- Uniforms and PPE provided by LHG must be worn during work hours
**Work Authorization**
- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: $14.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
