Then, this Technical Program Manager (TPM) role with the Trusted Advisor team within AWS Kumo is for you.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to be a trusted technology partner for our customers, scoping and delivering critical cross-organizational projects end-to-end and drive operational excellence programs across Kumo.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities include driving complex cross-functional projects, reporting to leadership to provide visibility, advising on and collecting business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, working closely with AWS Enterprise Support partners, and driving project schedules from design to release, in order to drive customer experience and key metric improvements. Operationally, you'll drive programs to increase our product delivery quality, safety and predictability. You will be expected to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.

A day in the life
- Engage with stakeholders across AWS Enterprise Support, AWS Well-Architected and AWS service teams to drive enhancements to Trusted Advisor portfolio pf products. This includes having end-to-end ownership of complex products and programs, including clarifying product requirements, roadmap planning, migration planning, and project execution.
- Assimilate yourself with our customers’ day-to-day operations in order to identify improvement opportunities and provide consultative advice.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints.
- Have an ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, and then deliver them in a successful and timely manner.
- Have maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership, all of which are essential to success in this role.
