This is a 6-month mandate for the Oxfam regional platform in Latin America & the Caribbean (mandate based in Bolivia, Salvador or Honduras).
The mandate is under the Equality in Action Volunteer Cooperation Program (VCP), which takes place in 14 countries and 3 regions over a seven-year period (2020-2027). The VCP aims to increase the involvement of local partners in developing countries in inclusive, innovative and sustainable development initiatives that will advance gender equality. Oxfam's role is to support these organizations, working with the most vulnerable and marginalized people, to claim and exercise their rights. Oxfam places the rights of women, girls, and vulnerable and marginalized people at the heart of everything it does.
**Here's** **what** **your** **daily** life **will** look like**:
In close collaboration with Oxfam’s regional platform team members, your mandate will be to:
- Strengthen the capacities of partner organizations by supporting them in the development of their Prevention and Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Harassment and Abuse (PEAS) systems and policies;
- Design a PEAS training program for key partner organizations in the region, and lead the trainings’ implementation;
- Actively participate in the regional prevention and protection network and contribute to the implementation of the regional PEAS strategy;
- Participate in communication campaigns on the PEAS thematic.
**For **this** mandate **you** must**:
- Be a Canadian citizen or have permanent resident status in Canada;
- Have university degree in Social Sciences or any other relevant field;
- Have at least 1 year of relevant experience in prevention and protection against sexual exploitation, harassment and abuse;
- Have knowledge and experience on gender and gender-based violence issues;
- Have completed psychological first-aid training (an asset);
- Be fluent in Spanish, spoken and written (required);
- Master the Office suite.

Se trata de un mandato de 6 meses para la plataforma regional de Oxfam en América Latina y el Caribe (mandato basado en Bolivia, El Salvador u Honduras).
El mandato es parte del Programa de Cooperación Voluntaria (PCV) de Igualdad en Acción, que se ejecuta en 14 países y 3 regiones durante un período de siete años (2020-2027).
El PCV tiene como objetivo aumentar la participación de las socias locales en los países en desarrollo a través de iniciativas de desarrollo inclusivo, innovadoras y sostenibles que promoverán la igualdad de género. El papel de Oxfam consiste en apoyar a estas organizaciones, trabajando con las personas más vulnerables y marginalizadas, para que revindiquen y ejerzan sus derechos. Oxfam pone los derechos de las mujeres, las niñas y las personas vulnerables y marginalizadas en el centro de todo lo que hace.

En estrecha colaboración con los miembros del equipo de Oxfam en la región, su mandato consistirá en:
- Fortalecer la capacidad de las organizaciones socias apoyándolas en el desarrollo de sus sistemas y políticas de Prevención y Protección contra la Explotación, el Acoso y los Abusos Sexuales (PEAAS);
- Diseñar un programa de formación en PEAAS para las organizaciones socias claves de la región y liderar procesos de formación;
- Participar activamente en la red regional de prevención y protección y contribuir a la implementación de la estrategia regional en PEAAS;
- Participar en campañas de comunicación sobre el tema PEAAS.
**Para este mandato usted debe**:
- Ser ciudadano.a canadiense o tener la condición de residente permanente en Canadá;
- Tener un título universitario en ciencias sociales o cualquier otro campo pertinente;
- Tener al menos 1 año de experiência pertinente en prevención y protección contra la explotación, el acoso y los abusos sexuales;
- Conocer y tener experiência en temas relacionados con género y violencia basada en género;
- Tener una formación en primeros auxilios emocionales (un activo);
- Poseer el dominio del español hablado y escrito (obligatorio);
