Farmer's Market

Michell's Farm Market is looking to add reliable, enthusiastic team players, who have a passion for local food to our team.

Immediately hiring for part time positions with potential for full time late spring.

Experience an asset, but not mandatory.

Tasks include but not limited to:
A little bit of everything
- Excellent customer service and cashiering, operating cash registers and point of sale device.
- Answering customer phone calls.
- Prepping and stocking/merchandising produce and other products.
- Rotating and culling produce to ensure quality standards are upheld
- Working and collaborating with a team ensuring shelves are full and nicely presented in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds (produce boxes), and handling/loading bales of hay, unloading and organizing deliveries
- Ensuring overall cleanliness of the market is maintained.
- Following Covid-19 protocols and health and safety procedures
- Occasionally helping harvest produce.

Hourly wage starting at $17.00 per hour

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
