**Please Note: This position offers a hybrid work environment consisting of in-office and remote work. The office location is 500 Church St in Penetanguishene, ON.**

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Conduct literature searches and reviews
- Participate in project meetings
- Assist in preparation of research ethics proposals
- Design, develop, and critique questionnaires or coding forms
- Participate in data collection; prepare data entry forms; enter, verify and clean data
- Participate in data analysis plans and assist with data analysis and summaries of results
- Assist in preparing reports, articles, and presentations; participate in presentations within the Waypoint Research Institute
- Maintain a log of all research activities
- Attend conferences and other meetings as necessary
- Assist in preparing materials for submission to granting agencies and foundations
- Attend conferences and other meetings as necessary

**REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s level degree (preference for Master’s degree) in a behavioural/life science field with relevant post-degree research training preferred.
- Experience with a record of achievement in scholarly work (publications, presentations, completed research projects in work or senior undergraduate/graduate setting) required
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience of research methods and data analysis required
- Experience in qualitative research would be considered an asset
- Experience in a mental health environment (clinical or research) preferred
- TCPS2 Certification preferred
- Detail-oriented to ensure data quality and accuracy
- Results-oriented work ethic to work independently and undertake tasks needed to accomplish work objectives and deliver quality, consistent and timely results
- Demonstrated teamwork, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to adapt readily to change
- Models and promotes core ethical practice, Waypoint Values, and reflects an optimistic and positive attitude
- Preference for proficiency in French/English language skills
