Join our dynamic team at Thorold Auto where every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth We're currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Loader Operator, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.

As a **Loader Operator**, you'll be the backbone of our operations, responsible for:

- **Daily Reporting**: You'll be the eyes and ears on the ground, reporting any issues from the previous day and eagerly anticipating new instructions from your Supervisor.
- **Equipment Inspection**: Your meticulous attention to detail will shine as you inspect our equipment daily, ensuring everything is in top-notch condition and promptly reporting any mechanical issues to your Supervisor.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Keeping our equipment in pristine condition is essential, and you'll take pride in maintaining it to the highest standards.
- **Safety First**: Safety is our top priority, and you'll play a crucial role in safely transporting vehicles, staging dismantled vehicles in accordance with yard practices, and ensuring safe transport in and out of dismantle bays.
- **Record-Keeping**: Your organizational skills will be put to good use as you meticulously record all vehicle location changes, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
- **Yard Maintenance**: Our yard is the heart of our operation, and you'll help keep it in tip-top shape by maintaining laneways and ensuring any holes are promptly smoothed and repaired.
- **Operating Machinery**: You'll be trained to operate our crushing machine safely and efficiently, following all operational instructions and ensuring the equipment is properly maintained.

This is a full-time position with the possibility of continental or afternoon shifts, offering plenty of opportunities for professional development and advancement within our company.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
