The Pas, Canada Northern Health Region Full time

Performs all functions related to the daily operations and workflow of the reprocessing department. Responsible for
supervising staff performance ensuring appropriate levels of orientation, evaluation and training. A key function is the
oversight of daily operations and workflow to ensure standards are met in the reprocessing department. In addition,
ensures equipment and supplies are cleaned sterilized and distributed to all areas of the facility in accordance with
established procedures to ensure the highest possible standards of patient care in the Operating Room/ Medical Device
Reprocessing Department/ Nursing Unit.

**QUALIFICATIONS
- Approved certificate in Medical Device Reprocessing Technician
- Graduate of a recognized Health Care Aide Program an asset
- Completion of a recognized Medical Terminology course an asset
- Working knowledge of Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet
- Current two (2) years experience as a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician in a hospital setting
- Satisfactory employment record required
