Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Florist to join our team. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. If you have a passion for flowers and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, we would love to hear from you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Design unique and visually appealing floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and funerals
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in selecting the perfect flowers and answering their questions
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and floral supplies
- Keep the store clean and organized to create an inviting atmosphere for customers
- Assist with e-commerce orders and ensure timely delivery of floral arrangements
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm new design ideas and stay updated on the latest floral trends
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a florist is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and understand their needs
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently
- Knowledge of basic retail sales techniques and cash handling procedures
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for online flower orders is desirable
- Proficiency in English language

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $17.55-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
