**Hours**: Part Time. 3-hour shifts, 6:30pm - 9:30pm (2-4 shifts per week)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boat Tour Skipper to join our team. As a Boat Tour Skipper, you will be responsible for leading our exclusive Private Boat Cruises for 6 passengers or less on Lake St. Clair and the Detroit River. This is a part-time/on-call role as our business is seasonal and weather-dependent. It is ideal for a retiree who loves boating and has experience navigating these waterways. As the Captain of one of our Pontoon Boats, you will provide customers with an unforgettable experience, while they enjoy views of our border city skylines, lake vistas, and stunning sunsets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting private boat cruises for customers (primarily our Sunset Cruise 6:30pm - 9:30pm).
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the cruise.
- Providing on-board commentary about points of interest along the route, including Peche Island, Belle Isle, Historic Hiram Walkers Distillery, Peace Fountain Park, and the Windsor and Detroit City Skylines.
- Serving as a knowledgeable and personable guide, enhancing the overall experience for customers.
- Upholding company policies on tours to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Boat Tour Skipper or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of boating regulations and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers and provide informative commentary.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
