**Your work environment at EXP
**EXP is searching for an Electrical Project Manager (Buildings) to join our Mechanical/Electrical team in our Ottawa, ON, office. The successful applicant will be joining a diverse engineering group in Central Canada poised for growth and challenging opportunities well into the future.

**What a day at EXP has in store for you**
- Reports to the Mechanical/Electrical Manager with the ability to work independently on projects from start to completion
- Provides input and makes decisions on electrical project scope definition, schedule, and budget requirement
- Responsible for meeting firm’s engineering quality levels
- Review designers’ work for all deliverables including drawings, specifications, and reports
- Mentors and encourages development of designer level staff
- Have a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts to execute all required aspects of electrical engineering
- Manages work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours
- Writes studies and reports on electrical systems Contributes to revisions of EXP’s design standards and master specifications

**What your experience looks like**
- 5 of experience in electrical buildings design at a consulting engineering firm
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical or equivalent degree
- P.Eng. designation in Ontario is an asset
- Proficient with AutoCAD
- Proficient with Revit or willing to learn
- Knowledge of applicable codes such as the Ontario Building Code, Electrical Safety Code, etc. Proficient with Microsoft Office products and electrical design software
