A global plastics manufacturer is experiencing a growth in sales and demand in many areas of its business and is looking to recruit for the Orangeville, ON manufacturing facility.

We are currently looking for a Mixing/Blending/Recycling Operator to join our team.

The Mixing/Blending/Recycling Operator is responsible for maintaining control of the mixing/blending process through accurate weighing and change over of raw materials, as well as ensuring quality standards are met through precise compound flow. The role prepares and maintains the flow of materials to the extrusion department by recycling resins back into the process.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
Review production batch sheets to verify correct raw material input amounts

Input raw materials utilizing both manual and automated systems

Operate automated mixing equipment through use of touch screens

Conduct detailed and efficient cleaning of all process equipment

Perform periodic preventative maintenance on processing equipment

Shredding/grinding/pulverizing of product to put regrind back into process

**Qualifications**:
Strong mechanical aptitude

Physical coordination

Experience with hand held measuring equipment

Good math and computer skills

High attention to detail

Forklift license/experience

Strong communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with continuous processes

**Salary**:$21.43-$23.33 per hour

**Shifts**

Permanent, Full Time Position

12 hr continental day/night shift, with 4-week turnaround

Averaging agreements in place

84 hrs biweekly

with opportunity for OT

**Salary**: $21.43-$23.33 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Orangeville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
