- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems
- Inspect and troubleshoot irrigation systems for leaks, clogs, or other issues
- Adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions and plant needs
- Perform routine maintenance on irrigation equipment, including cleaning filters and replacing damaged parts
- Dig trenches and install pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads
- Operate power tools and hand tools to complete irrigation projects
- Collaborate with landscape designers or architects to plan irrigation systems for new installations
- Ensure compliance with local water regulations and conservation practices

- MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS AN IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely
- Knowledge of irrigation system components and their functions
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (required)
