Job summary

Relieves operators on lunches and breaks, assists with plant cleaning duties.

The position currently available is for 12 hours shifts (graveyard shifts, from 6pm to 6am), 4 days on/3 days off switching with 3 days on/4days off schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities on all Shifts
- Relief to Muffin Line #1 Operator, Muffin Line #1 Divider Operator, Muffin Line #2 Mixer Operator, and Muffin Line #2 Divider Operator.
- Mix corn meal whenever it is needed and always at end of shift.
- Sweep around griddle area at the end of the shift as well as area used for cornmeal mixing.
- Work as a team and cooperate with your fellow team members at all times.
- Report all equipment problems on Mechanical Defect sheet and to Supervisors.
- Capable of all duties (including documentation and scaling) required by operators.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

- Able to work in fast paced, high pressure environment
- Able to physically lift 25kg weight consistently
- Must be flexible with start/end shift times.
- Able to work in a warm environment (uniform, safety and work attire provided by employer)
- Work involves daily exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and/or noise.
- Work environment involves regular exposure to physical risks, such as working around mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards.
- Personal protective equipment, as defined by C.H. Guenther and Son, will be provided
- Trained and experienced as Muffin Mixer #1 Operator, Muffin Line #1Operator, Muffin Mixer #2 Operator, Muffin Line #2 Operator.
