**Job Title**: Casual Housekeeper/Laundry (Environmental Service Worker)

You will be responsible for performing duties related to maintaining a clean and sanitary environment and clean, healthy and sanitary linen.

**Experience and Qualifications Considered an Asset**:

- Previous experience in housekeeping and/or laundry
- Experience in long-term care or similar setting
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment
- Enjoy working with seniors
- Possesses exemplary Customer Service skills
- Effective communication, both written and verbal, in English with residents, families and co-workers
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy in all aspects of the organization
- Reliable with good attendance and cheerful disposition
- Must take initiative and able to work with minimum supervision
- Respectful and hardworking team player
- Demonstrate the use of proper body mechanics
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment
- **Clear Criminal Record Check including the Vulnerable Sector Screening in the last** **3 months is required**
