**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grocery Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and sourcing of grocery items, ensuring that our inventory is well-stocked and competitively priced. You will play a key role in vendor management and collaborate with various departments to optimize supply chain processes.

**Duties**
- Buy and procure grocery items from various vendors while ensuring competitive pricing.
- Manage vendor relationships to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Utilize systems such as HDS for effective inventory management and tracking.
- Oversee the sourcing of products to meet customer demand while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Assist in the implementation of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain efficiency.

**Skills**
- Strong negotiation skills to secure the best prices from vendors.
- Proficiency in vendor management and relationship building.
- Familiarity with supply chain principles and practices.
- Experience with sourcing strategies to optimize product availability.
- Knowledge of systems such as HDS for inventory control and procurement processes.
- Ability to analyze pricing trends and market conditions effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration.
