- Prepare other written deliverables such as reports, presentations, and guidelines for clients.

Support on Indirect Tax Projects:

- Assist with various indirect tax projects as needed, which may include data analysis and presentation.

Client Support:

- Address inquiries and assist internal accounting staff regarding clients' indirect tax issues.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and to support communication on indirect tax matters.

Interdepartmental Collaboration:

- Collaborate with team members from different departments on projects such as financial statement audits to ensure proper communication of indirect tax issues.

Tax Filings and Compliance:

- Prepare and file various indirect tax documents including information returns, elections, registration requests, etc., ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

**Career growth potential**:
Our clients include publicly traded companies, non-profit organizations, charities, municipalities, financial institutions, oil and gas, First Nations, real estate developers, international importers, etc.

As you develop a deeper understanding of indirect taxation, you will have the opportunity to progress into supporting clients directly with preparing information for various tax authorities during audits and examinations, writing technical memoranda for complex taxation issues, reviewing plans for mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations for indirect tax implications, risks and opportunities.

If this area of practice aligns with your interests and skills, you will be supported in growing into an indirect tax practitioner including the potential to be promoted into Manager and more senior roles.
