Oak Valley Health, Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH), features newly renovated facilities including a new cancer clinic, breast health center, diagnostic imaging center, and medical/surgical units. There is a group of highly motivated and skilled professionals. We are also a training site for UofT trainees. In addition, we have an active expanding research program that supports open phase 3 clinical trials.

The Department of Paediatrics is looking for a new Paediatric Endocrinologist to join our existing team of three part-time endocrinologists. The opportunity would include one day of an Endocrine clinic per week, one half day of a Diabetes clinic per week and one day of a Lifestyle Clinic per month. The position will also involve shared on-call responsibilities with the existing endocrinologists, helping to provide support for Endocrine and Diabetes related clinical concerns. The Diabetes and Lifestyle clinics are supported by a multidisciplinary team including nursing, dietitian and social work. All clinics are supported by an administrative team. Hospital facilities which are utilized frequently include laboratory medicine and diagnostic imaging.

You will be part of a strong Department of Paediatrics helping to serve one of the fastest growing communities in the GTA. There are opportunities for involvement in teaching and creative professional activities, and the successful applicant may be eligible for a faculty appointment at the University of Toronto.

**Qualifications/Experience**:
An independent license to practice medicine in Ontario from the College of Physicians and Surgeon of Ontario
Subspecialty certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Paediatrics and Endocrinology and Metabolism.
Clinical interest and experience in the care of children with obesity.
