**Job Overview**:
- We have an opportunity for a Production Technician with our Wildlife Mitigation Business Unit (WMBU) at our Edmonton, Alberta location. The WMBU provides wildlife mitigation solutions in the Power and Utilities industry across North America, through its Greenjacket and Reliaguard products.HOURS: Monday to Thursday 7am-5:30pm in factory/warehouse. 10 Hour Shift with two 15min breaks and 1 30-minute break. Opportunity for OT if Friday shift required.**A Day In The Life**:
- Achieve Production daily targets
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, design drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately spray, modify and grind products
- Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld air guns and power tools
- Monitor and maintain inventory in work stations
- Rework products according to design specification
- Contribute to a Safety Culture
- Other duties as assigned
**What will help you thrive in this role?**:
- Experience:
- 1-3 year of Manufacturing Experience o Experience in spray foam and paint is an asset**Education**:
- High School DiplomaTechnical:
- o Ability to interpret equipment gauges and monitors on manufacture equipment- o Accurate in measurement. Examples (feet, inches or centimeter)
- High Attention to detail- o Basic computer knowledgeBehavioral:
- Initiative and Drive - Works efficiently and actively looking for ways to add value.
- Leveraging learning and feedback - mind for continuous improvement and skills development.
- Positive approach and stress Tolerance - team player and manages workload in peak times.
Physical:
- o Physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time
- Ability to work under different work temperatures
- May be required to handle hazardous chemicals
