Apprentice Baker

Riviera Bakery Limited is a small business in Etobicoke, ON M8Z 1K2. We are agile, fast-paced, and challenging.

We're looking for a passionate Baker to join our team. The Baker will be on the front lines, creating delicious food and interacting with customers. The Baker's responsibilities include baking breads and pastries, managing inventory to ensure all items are available and creating new recipes based on customer requests. We're looking for the right individual who has experience in commercial baking, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is capable of working well in a team environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create pastries and cakes in a timely manner.
- Create cakes and pastries to the specifications of customers.
- Keep customers happy.
- Communicate with customers about orders.
- Follow standard baking guidelines.
- Use baking techniques to ensure the food is baked to order.
- Be on time for work and complete tasks on time.

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Etobicoke, ON M8Z 1K2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Baking: 2 years (required)
