Edmonton, Canada Leston Holdings (1980) Ltd. Full time

We are looking for a skilled maintenance technician for our Windsor Estates property located 18175 96 Avenue Northwest Edmonton, AB.

Complete preventative maintenance and inspect properties, suites and common areas to identify issues and perform repairs or improvements relating to plumbing, heating, paint, hardware and electrical fixtures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on appliances.
- Remove and haul out waste, scraps, dirt and other refuse or debris from the building, as needed.
- Complete seasonal yard work including lawn care (cutting & edging the grass, spring & fall clean-up, etc) and snow removal.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies as and if required.
- Create and adhere to a weekly and monthly inspection schedule for all boilers, hot water tanks, doors, etc at each assigned building.
- Organize semi-annual inspections for all suites, mechanical rooms and common areas to ensure maintenance, cleanliness and pest control standards are being met.
- Complete siding, eavestrough, patio and other such repairs as needed.
- Perform other maintenance jobs such as painting, drywall repair and lock replacement.
- Ensure that security measures (ex. locks, gates, doors, fences, etc) are in place and well maintained at all times.
- Report all vandalism to the office and work to clean or repair any damages in a timely manner.
- Co-ordinate activities with leasing agents and other maintenance personnel during move-in/outs and repair or renovation projects.
- Be on-call, in order to deal with tenant and/or building emergencies.
- Pick-up and deliver materials and supplies as required.
- Recommend, arrange & supervise additional maintenance services (including but not limited to window cleaning, power-washing and carpet cleaning).
- Fill-out work order forms and notify the office that a tenant follow-up can be completed.
- Prepare a statement of work completed in suites following a move-out.
