Jr. Technician

The Junior Technician/Maintenance will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of highly automated metal fabrication equipment to minimize downtime. Full training will be provided.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot production equipment and/or facility equipment
- Follow department policies and procedures and work within industry guideline.
- Repair/replace defective machinery parts, perform equipment adjustment and fabricate parts when required
- Practices safe work habits
- Preventative maintenance_
- Support preventative maintenance program for all production equipment.
- Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance repairs.
- Participate in troubleshooting equipment for repair.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of a recognized program in vocational training for the mechanical or electrical trades
- Experience in metal manufacturing facility
- Experience maintaining welding equipment.
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Familiar with principles of hydraulics, pneumatics, run-in analysis, and PLC’s.
- Should have knowledge of mechanical systems, metal fabrication and machining.
- Must have written and spoken English language proficiency skills.
- Team player as well as capability to work independently.
