Asbestos Worker

Winnipeg, Canada River City Inspection & Environmental Full time

River City Environmental is currently seeking asbestos technicians with experience.

Looking for reliable, hardworking individuals

Current resume with references required

Must be experienced in building containment/hoarding

Experience in removal of asbestos containing material, and work on demolition projects

Asbestos glove bag experience

2 years minimum experience of prior Abatement/demolition experience

Current Asbestos Abatement Type 1,2,3 Certification an asset

Must have a good understanding and able to following work health safety protocols and procedures

Required to work efficiently and safely

Able to meet deadlines

Ability to take direction, work independently and in team setting

Comfortable with working at heights - Fall Protection Certificate an asset

Use of hand/power tools to complete tasks

Secondary (high) school min.

Must have own steel toed boots

Lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) min.

**Cellular phone with active data plan a must**

Accurately clock in/out on the mobile timesheet system

Criminal record check may be required

Class 5 drivers license an asset Drivers record check (abstract)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
