**Responsibilities**:

- supply ordering for all areas of the facility (administration, OR, PACU)
- manage awarded contracts including: additions/discontinuations, code changes, pricing updates, etc.
- manage equipment maintenance, contracted or not
- coordinate and deliver quarterly inventory to finance ensuring accurate data collection for analysis, reporting and audit purposes
- track consumable utilization by case and develop subsequent case costing sheets
- supplier inventory management with PO/Invoice Reconciliation
- track orders and maintain inventory records
- monitor shelf life, requisition items in low supply, and ensure items are used in a first-in, first-out basis
- consult with user departments and suppliers to resolve discrepancies
- review weekly operating room slates

**Qualifications**:

- **a healthcare/medical device background, experience with surgical vendors and contract management experience**:

- solid MS Excel skills
- procurement and/or supply chain experience
- a high level of professionalism
- results-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines with a high level of attention to detail
- strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential along with the ability to quickly grasp a situation and zero-in on issues without wasteful consideration of alternative information
- the ability to work both independently and in a team environment with mínimal supervision
- excellent English language skills (reading, written, verbal)

Reporting to the OR Nurse Manager and the Director of Operations, you will manage equipment and account contracts with our suppliers, ensuring just in time ordering and inventory management for the smooth delivery of healthcare services. By providing strategic, high quality and cost-effective procurement services, you will aid in the preparation and management of our annual budget.
