**About New Age**:
**General Role Description**:
**General Duties/Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)**:

- Provide comprehensive IT support services to the organization for cloud and on-premises computing platforms.
- Self-monitor, manage and respond to support tickets to ensure the proper escalation and resolution of tickets and incidents in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and research IT-related problems to drive resolution.
- Test, install and configure computing hardware, peripheral devices, and software components.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and coordinate hardware repairs, software, and configuration support with vendors.
- Collaborate, liaise, and communicate with various internal and external groups (Ex: consultants, vendors).
- Proactively monitor, configure, maintain, and ensure IT-related systems comply with the Company’s security and privacy policies and standards.
- Contribute and assist with periodically sharing current technical information, knowledge, and tips with users, clients, and colleagues through various internal communication channels.
- Perform and monitor backup and recovery operations for data and systems and participate in related business continuity tasks and activities.
- Conduct on-site and off-site service calls and provide technical training as required.
- Participate in IT infrastructure and platform upgrades and special projects as needed.
- Engage in regular team meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with developing and reviewing IT documentation, procedures, and guidelines and promote security. practices to internal and external users.
- Knowledge of security systems (is an asset).

**Skills, Education and Experience**:
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- Education related to computer technologies, networking, or information security.
- Good knowledge of and preferably working experience with LAN, WAN, Wireless networks and network security devices.
- A demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and progress.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams within and outside the organization.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and in a team.
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing Platforms (Microsoft 365, Google, AWS) is considered an asset.
- Diploma in Computer, Information Technology, or a related field.
- CompTIA ITF+/A+/Network+, Microsoft 365 or equivalent Certification(s) would be an advantage.
- Help Desk and IT support experience would be considered an asset.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using strong problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to proactively and quickly learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language.
- Proficient in typing, minimum 60/wpm with high accuracy level is critical to this position.
- G Driver License, and own vehicle preferred.

**Mandatory Requirements**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent and 100% onsite

Schedule:

- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Concord, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
