We are a family owned Garden Centre in Mississippi Mills, Ontario. We are focused on providing excellence in product quality along with an amazing shopping experience for our customers.

This is a salaried position with detailed compensation to be discussed.

**Responsibilities**:

- ensuring all customers have a positive experience
- Oversee the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Provide leadership and guidance to the store staff, motivating them to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking merchandise as needed
- Train and develop employees on store policies, procedures, and product knowledge
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner
- Perform cashiering duties when necessary, including handling cash transactions accurately

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Proven experience in store management, including inventory control and visual merchandising
- Proficient in cashiering procedures, including cash handling and POS systems
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Plant knowledge is not necessary, but is an asset
- capability to perform in a fast paced environment with seasonal change overs

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
