Countdown Escape Rooms Thunder Bay is on the lookout for a mature, self-motivated individual with a passion for escape rooms to fill the role of Gamemaster/Handyman No experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn

**Duties**
- Lead and supervise game sessions, ensuring all participants understand the rules and objectives.
- Engage with guests to create an exciting atmosphere and enhance their overall experience.
- Monitor gameplay to ensure fairness and adherence to rules while providing assistance as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly during game bookings and merchandise sales.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized game area.
- Assist in promoting upcoming events or special offers to guests.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children is preferred, as you will be interacting with young participants frequently.
- Strong cash handling skills are essential for managing payments during game sessions.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is highly valued.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be 18 years of age or older, as you will work mostly independently post-training.
- Flexible availability, including weekdays and weekends.
- A great memory to keep our rooms running smoothly.
- Public speaking skills are important for effectively communicating with groups of participants.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
