**Position**: Dock Worker

**Location**: Peterborough, ON

**Type of employment**:Permanent Full-time - Night Shift
- **Hours of work**_

**Sundays**:

- 10:30 PM -8:00 AM

**Monday -Thursday**:

- 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM

**SUMMARY**:The Dockworker is responsible for accurately scanning and sorting freight, building secure skids and unloading trailers in a timely fashion

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assisting in preparation of freight, including labeling, cubing and scanning
- Maintain safe working procedures and Environmental
- Securely build and shrink wrap skids
- load and unload trailers
- meet cut off times

*Any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
- Physically fit and able to lift 75 lbs. as required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both individually and as part of a group
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Forklift experience is required
