The successful applicant will work in a small crew assisting with the maintenance of the landscaping at one of our large commercial properties, including mowing, trimming, and pruning. This position goes from May 21 to August 30, so this is a great position for a student who will be going to or returning to college or university this fall or an individual looking for a summer job to explore a career in lawn maintenance

Our Expectations:

- Arrive at our location and be ready to go by 7:30 AM everyday
- Follow tasks assigned by crew leader when arriving at site
- Check mower heights and adjust if necessary
- Walk site to search for hazards and pick up garbage daily
- Complete machine work and other grass cutting and maintenance tasks along with the other crew members
- Safely operate a variety of machinery including riding lawn mowers, walk-behinds, push mowers, trimmers, blowers and pruners
- Wear PPE and follow all safety expectations
- Help clean out truck and trailer of any debris, garbage or brush at the end of each day

Job Requirements:

- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's License
- 1 year’s maintenance experience preferred, willing to train individuals who share our company values
- Excellent communication skills and capable of dealing with a wide variety of people in a polite, positive and cooperative manner
- Be able to handle constructive criticism
- Hard working
