**Tasks**:

- Advise on policies
- Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
- Ensure appropriate systems and procedures are developed and implemented to provide budgetary control
- Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
- Recommend, review, evaluate and approve documents, briefs and reports
- Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
