General Labourer

full-time**Aqua Productions System (APS) is a global leader in aquatic life holding facilities that have experienced rapid growth in domestic and international markets. APS is currently searching for Temporary General Laborers**

**Responsibilities**
- **Clean up the warehouse and worksites**:

- **Handle and transport materials and equipment**:

- **Use power tools and machinery when needed**:

- **Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasks**:

- **Maintain all safety standards.**:

- **Move, secure, install, build, load, or unload materials.**:

- **Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the-job training.**

**Requirements**:

- **Ability to meet the physical demands of the job**:

- **Good hand-eye coordination**:

- **Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus**:

- **Communication and teamwork skills**:

- **Commitment to safety rules**

**Paid according to skillset**

**Clean Driving record, US Passport, Welding, Carpentry, and Plumbing skills are considered assets and paid accordingly.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $16.00 to $25 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 to 12 hour shifts
- Overtime paid after 48hrs at time and a half
- Travel to be expected for job sites outside of New Glasgow (All business travel paid by company, travel hours food and lodging)
- Temporary employment that can lead to full-time
- Criminal Background check is required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $16.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
