We currently have a **Temporary Full Time (Approx. January 2023)** opportunity for a **Pharmacy Student **on the **Pharmacy (GIM and Research)** department at **Bayview.**

**Hours of Work:
**Weekdays**: Days; 8hrs; as per schedule

**Summary of Duties**:
The responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Review targeted classes of medications, for example anticoagulants, antimicrobials, and narrow therapeutic index drugs
- Therapeutic drug monitoring and laboratory investigations for monitoring
- Documenting in patient chart and maintenance of pharmacy patient profiles
- Facilitating medication access and in preparation for discharge
- Participating in clinical presentations, rounds, and patient reviews
- Conducting literature reviews, chart reviews, data collection, and/or writing of scientific reports
- Preparing presentations and posters related to the research projects
- Reporting daily progress to the supervisor to ensure target deadlines are met

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- Self-motivated and able to work independently coupled with ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience with Microsoft office is required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good overall knowledge of search methods using PubMed
- Prior experience with clinical research and/or hospital pharmacy practice is desirable
- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills in the provision of person-centered care
