**We are currently looking for an Accounting Co-op Student** to join our team at LabX Media Group. Operating in numerous currencies, across multiple countries, and working within some cutting-edge technologies makes this one of the more challenging and rewarding positions in the area. We are looking for top talent to join our team at our global head office in Midland, ON. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the primary function of this position is to support the Finance & Accounting team.

**Location**: Midland, Ontario

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide administration and support for the Finance and Accounting team including: data entry, filing, scanning and other administrative duties
- Assisting the Accounting Associate with invoicing and collecting past-due accounts, conducting A/R phone calls
- Entering financial reporting data into our Enterprise Resource Program (ERP), NetSuite
- Recording and processing customer payments in dual systems
- Entering employee expense reports
- Assisting all members of the Finance and Accounting team with various excel reports and other projects
- Completing office errands and duties as required

**Requirements**:

- For this position, we are looking for an individual that has a keen eye for detail and can work with a high level of accuracy
- Experience working with financial data is an asset
- Ability to efficiently work under deadlines and specific time sensitive goals is required
- Outstanding communication skills are a must
- Must be comfortable working with mínimal supervision
- Must be comfortable working with web-based software as well as MS Excel
- Must be a current student in a Business Administration, Accounting or related program
