Art Factree is an immersive art experience store designed to ignite inspiration, foster creativity, and engage individuals in various forms of artistic expression. We are currently in search of Part-time Sales Associates to join the team at our store at CF Rideau Centre.

We are passionate about what we do and look for individuals with their own passion, curiosity, and genuine helpfulness to join us. We offer a unique, innovative and engaging experience in a fun, positive and creative environment. 

As a Sales Associate, you will report directly to the Store Manager. You will work as part of the team to create and maintain a positive atmosphere within the store as well as to deliver outstanding customer experiences. The Sales Associate represents the brand, operates in a professional manner, engages customers, and supports teamwork.

**Experience in a Department store/mall environment required.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for customers
- Assist customers or provide guidance as and when required
- Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally
- Develop a deep understanding of the products offered as well as the services provided
- Drive sales by engaging with customers, upselling products and services, and sharing product knowledge
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Attend team meetings and training sessions.

**Requirements**:

- Genuine passion for art and creativity
- Bachelor's degree
- Background or education in art or a related field considered an asset
- 1-2 years of retail sales, cash handling and customer service experience in a similar environment
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Self-motivated and Detail oriented
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets
- Ability to engage and build relationships with customers
- Ability to recognize and execute selling opportunities while creating customer experiences that makes them want to come back
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a dynamic retail store setting
- Available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays (general mall hours)
- Adhere to all health & safety and security procedures
- Willingness to continuously learn, grow, and stay updated on current trends

**Job Type**: Part-time

Day range:

- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday

Flexible Language Requirement:

- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- Cashiering: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (required)
- Retail sales: 1 year (required)
