Dental Receptionist/office Manager

We are a boutique dental office in Yorkville seeking a confident, approachable, and empathetic office manager for a full-time position from Tuesdays through Fridays, with occasional Mondays once a month. No evenings or weekends required.

Our office focuses primarily on cosmetic dentistry (Invisalign, whitening, bonding), restorative dentistry (bridges, crowns) and hygiene. We are a non-assignment office, so patients are not insurance driven. Our patients are very friendly, highly intelligent, and are an absolute pleasure to work with.

We operate through ABELdent software - knowledge of which would be preferred. Must be fluent in the English language (speaking and writing) and knowledge of dentistry is required as well. We also use Recall Max to confirm patient appointments and follow up on outstanding treatment.

The role we are looking to fill consists of the following responsibilities: managing day-to-day operations, overseeing patient scheduling and appointment management, handling financial and billing tasks, maintaining records and files including patient charts and insurance information, ensuring smooth operation of the clinic by supervising staff and coordinating tasks, developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, interacting with patients and resolving any issues or concerns they may have, and keeping on top of industry regulations and implementing changes as necessary.

Hours would be 8am - 5pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Fridays we end at 3pm with a lunch break mid-day each day. One Monday a month we have a surgeon in the office from 8:30am - 4:30pm.

The team currently consists of one dentist, two assistants, one full-time hygienist, and one part-time restorative hygienist along with one part-time hygienist.
