A Hospice Volunteer will provide emotional support, practical assistance within the bounds of the role as a volunteer and respite help as clients and caregivers face a life-threatening illness, death and bereavement. A pre-requisite of 30 hours of palliative training prior to or before completion of orientation is required. VON covers the registration process and fees for you

Visits are 1-2 times a week and anywhere from 1.5-3 hours long.
