The Donor Relations Specialist is responsible for executing the donor relations strategy for both Nisa Homes and NZF including fundraising, donor management and stewardship activities. The Donor Relations Specialist will ensure donor data tracking, segmentation and retention are consistently maintained.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain donor relationship management database, including updating donor records, compiling biographical information, data entry, and pulling reports/queries
- Process incoming gifts and ensure that gifts are accurately recorded and thanked
- Coordinate donor mailings, including direct mail appeals
- Track pledges and monthly gifts to ensure on-time payment
- Analyze donor giving patterns to increase donor retention, upgrading, and conversion rates
- Assist with preparation of the annual report and other reports to donors as needed
- Coordinate logistics for fundraising events, such as local and national house parties, donor cultivation events, and annual fundraisers
- Conduct research on donor prospects and other acquisition strategies to expand donor base nationally
- Conduct research on alternative forms of giving and determine appropriate methods to utilize
- Create and implement standard donor communication plan to donors for future use such as during Ramadan time and for fundraising purposes
- Set up automation of donor communication on Mail Chimp and Keela. Help transition from Mail Chimp to Keela

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 1-2 years of related experience in the nonprofit sector working in fundraising, outreach, and administration
- Strong Microsoft literacy and financial literacy
- Clear criminal and vulnerable sector police clearance
- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of community resources
- Excellent networking experience
- Experience with grant writing and fundraising
