**Position***:School Aged Childcare Worker**Description**: School Aged Educators at BACI work in a dynamic team environment to plan and organize activities for children of school age. School Aged Educators work directly with children to stimulate and develop their intellectual, physical and emotional growth.**Roles & Responsibilities:
**Education & Qualifications**:

- Early Childhood Education Certificate, Special Needs Certificate and School Aged Certification preferred- First Aid, CPR, and TB test clearance required. COVID-19 vaccination required.**Knowledge & Skills**:
- Practical experience working with children requiring additional support in inclusive settings
Practical experience working with children 5-12 years
Understanding and commitment to the principles of inclusion
Ability to develop rapport with families and children including respectful and non-judgmental interactions. - Good written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work with families, professionals and staff
Ability to understand and follow procedure
Computer skills required.

**POSITION: Regular Part Time Childcare Worker**

**LOCATION: Burnaby BC**

**SALARY: $18.50 - $21.50**

**HOURS: 30.0 hours per week Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-9:00am and 2:00pm-6:00pm split shifts.
- Please note Full Time hours on school breaks and holidays.
