AECOM Buildings + Places Architectural team is seeking an **Interior Design Technologist** to join our team. This role offers the flexibility to be based out of** Kitchener, Mississauga, Markham, or London, ON, **with the option for hybrid work.

In this role you will:

- Spearhead the creation of design and construction document drawings, bringing projects from conception to completion while adhering to the highest standards.
- Tackle design assignments with precision under the mentorship of our discipline leaders.
- Craft interior design drawings that reflect both complexity and clarity.
- Utilize your deep understanding of specific disciplines to influence design outcomes.
- Navigate codes, permits, and cutting-edge software with ease.
- Translate project specifications into compelling designs that speak to both form and function.
- Engage with vendor documents and materials management to ensure project integrity.
- Contribute to project budget evaluations by analyzing manpower and cost data.
- Forecast costs and changes with an analytical mindset, ensuring project adaptability.

**Qualifications** Minimum Requirements**:

- A Diploma/Certificate in Interior Design from a recognized Canadian institution plus two years of relevant experience in interior design, showcasing a portfolio of diverse and impactful projects.

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Proficiency in industry-leading software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- A passion for continuous learning and professional development in the field of interior design.
- Institutional design experience.
