**About us**:
Newborough Teacher Training Institute was established in 2008 and offers a part time Montessori Early Childhood Education course to adults who wish to benefit as educators in the Montessori Method of teaching children ages 2 ½ through 6 years.

**Who are we looking for?**

**Responsibilities**:

- Dedicate oneself to inspiring students' intellectual potential and fostering a lifelong passion for learning.
- Support student academic success and the development of learning skills.
- Deliver the curriculum in accordance with the course syllabus, providing both theoretical and practical training.
- Develop and implement various teaching methods suitable for different course topics.
- Prepare, administer, and grade evaluation criteria to assess student progress.
- Ensure adherence to the student code of conduct and classroom regulations.
- Attend meetings with management to share and receive feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance and evaluation records.
- Actively contribute to curriculum improvement and assess instructional effectiveness.
- Continuously acquire and update knowledge to facilitate the development of others.
- Adapt course content to align with students' interests and future experiences.

**Requirements**:

- Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, with a minimum of 5 years of recent working experience as an Early Childhood Educator, and hold current membership in the provincial association for Early Childhood Educators.
- Previous formal training and/or experience in teaching adults in an educational setting is advantageous.
- Foreign-trained professionals must have their credentials translated into Canadian terms and meet equivalent Canadian standards. Membership in the provincial association for Early Childhood Educators is required, and work experience as an Early Childhood Educator remains the same as stated above.
- Display a high level of organization and punctuality.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
