**Job Overview**:
Reporting to the Quality & Opex Manager, the Quality Analyst is responsible to develop dashboards for different business areas including quality, manufacturing, production planning and supply chain in order to monitor, report and facilitate achievement of KPIs, participate in the planning, development and implementation of quality initiatives in accordance with current operating procedures and recommend and participate in process improvement changes with various departments. This role will also support quality by building process, documentation control and standardization across the hard rock division according to Komatsu Mining standards.

**Key Job Responsibilities**:

- Drive adherence to Quality Management Systems through communication, training, internal auditing and leading quality projects/initiatives
- Establish quality metrics and collect, analyze and track data to measure business efficiency. (ie. cost of poor quality, etc.)
- Facilitate monthly meetings with area performance leaders to drive root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Report out daily, weekly and monthly on KPI’s, non-conformities, and status of document control activities.
- Create Inspection Test Plans for OE factory equipment.
- Identify, document and implement QA process improvements (process standardization, methodologies, tool utilization) leveraging industry best practices.
- Maintain document control system, ensuring the integrity of the document, revision control and business document templates.
- Evaluate quality risk and perform risk assessments as applicable, recommending quality development priorities based on assessment.
- Train, and provide guidance on QA processes to other staff.
- Drive the 5S program and participate in audits and training.
- Participate in Six Sigma (MPC), 5S, and Lean Manufacturing quality improvement initiatives.
- Act as liaison with customer and supplier quality representatives as applicable.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in quality engineering, data analysis, business administration or equivalent
- 2-3 years of business process development experience
- 3 to 5 years minimum of manufacturing exposure in industrial environments to understand high value data points
- ISO9001 Internal Auditor Certification is preferred
- 3+ years of previous experience with documentation procedures, ISO audits, etc.
- Previous experience with data collection and analysis
- Previous training and experience using 5S principles.
- Must have excellent computer skills to analyze data, file reports and maintain quality documentation control including MS Office; Excel, Word, Powerpoint; SAP ERP system use; Power BI use, programming languages to develop tools and data extraction/analysis systems.
- Good communication skills to work efficiently with internal production, management, sales personnel and customers/vendors as required and deliver training sessions and facilitate meetings as needed.
- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
