We are looking for a physically fit, responsible individual to move furniture by loading items into and out of moving trucks. Movers are responsible for ensuring that items are undamaged and placed in the correct position in the new location. To be successful as a mover you must have stamina to perform manual duties that often require strength.

Mover Responsibilities
- Wrap furniture in protective material when necessary.
- Load, pack and unload items with care.
- Ensure that no items are damaged while moving, as well as damage to customers properties.
- Place furniture in the requested positions at the new location.
- Take inventory of items and ensure that no items are lost during transportation.
- Must be able to disassemble and reassemble basic furniture (i.e bedframes, table and couch legs, etc).

Mover Requirements
- Physically fit.
- Punctual and professional.
- Good customer service.
- Reliable transportion to and from our shop location.
- A driver's license would be advantageous.

Swampers/Labourers Wage Range ($20/HR - $24/HR)

Swampers/Labourer Responsibilities:

- Wrap furniture in protective material when necessary.
- Load, and unload items with care. (Not required to pack the truck).
- Ensure that no items are damaged while moving, as well as damage to customers properties.
- Place furniture in the requested positions at the new location.
- Take inventory of items and ensure that no items are lost during transportation
- Assist the driver when backing up the truck to ensure correct positioning at locations
- Disassemble and reassemble basic furniture (i.e bedframes, table and couch legs, etc).

Driver/Crew Lead Wage Rage ($25/HR - $30/HR)

Driver/Crew Lead Responsibilities:

- Must have a valid class 5 drivers license and previous experience driving 5 ton trucks.
- Must be able to pack a moving truck efficiently.
- Ensure that no items are damaged while moving, as well as damage to customers properties.
- Place furniture in the requested positions at the new location.
- Take inventory of items and ensure that no items are lost during transportation
- Disassemble and reassemble basic furniture (i.e bedframes, table and couch legs, etc).
- Good customer service and be able to talk with customers if they have any questions or concerns throughout the move.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 50 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
