**Where We Work**:
**What You Would Do in This Role**:
The Senior Expeditor is responsible for planning and performing expediting activities to ensure the timely delivery of documentation, materials and equipment to meet project requirements. Duties include:

- Working within a project team environment, potentially on multiple projects
- Proactively performing expediting activities to ensure the delivery of equipment, materials, services and related documentation
- Developing and maintaining status reports
- Leading purchase order kick-off meetings
- Shop expediting purchase orders, as required
- Initiating the close-out of purchase orders
- Communicating with suppliers to resolve issues affecting a purchase order
- Attending status meetings with clients, project management and suppliers
- Mentoring, supporting and guiding staff
- Assisting the procurement lead in the development or improvement of corporate work processes and procedures
- Performing other duties as requested

**Requirements**:

- Two (2) to Five (5) years procurement experience with a minimum Two (2) years of expediting experience in an engineering, procurement, construction environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to adapt in a changing environment
- Ability to work without supervision

**Preferred**:

- Post-secondary certification or equivalent
