**Key Responsibilities**:
- Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets in residential and commercial settings.
- Tape, mud, and sand drywall seams and joints to achieve a smooth, paint-ready finish.
- Repair existing drywall as needed.
- Install, repair, and finish trim work, including baseboards, crown molding, door/window casings, and other decorative elements.
- Ensure all work is completed to meet building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure seamless project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a drywall installer/finisher and trim carpenter.
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques, tools, and materials.
- Expertise in finishing drywall to a high standard, including taping, mudding, and sanding.
- Proficiency in trim carpentry, including the ability to install and finish various types of trim.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in all aspects of work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various conditions (e.g., standing, kneeling, lifting heavy materials).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in residential renovation projects.
- Familiarity with additional carpentry tasks beyond trim work.
- Certification or training in drywall installation and finishing.
- Own transportation.
- Own tools.
