**Responsibilities**:
Repairs and Maintenance: Identify and assess any damage or malfunctions in farm structures, equipment, and machinery. Execute repairs promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Minor Plumbing: Handle basic plumbing tasks, such as fixing leaks, replacing faucets, and unclogging drains, to maintain the functionality of water systems on the farm.

Gardening & Landscaping: Collaborate with the farm team to support gardening and landscaping efforts. This may include planting, weeding, mulching, and general landscape maintenance to enhance the farm's aesthetics and productivity.

Animal Care: Work closely with our barn cats, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, and horses. Assist in feeding, watering, and monitoring their health and well-being. Occasionally, clean and maintain their pens to ensure a clean and safe living environment.

Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain farm tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Perform basic servicing and cleaning as needed.

Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources, including tools, materials, and spare parts, to ensure proper availability and minimize wastage.

Safety Compliance: Prioritize safety protocols and adhere to industry standards when performing repairs or maintenance tasks. Report any safety hazards or concerns to the farm management promptly.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and any related expenses. Keep track of inventory and update task lists as necessary.

Communication: Effectively communicate with the farm management and other team members to coordinate tasks, report progress, and discuss any upcoming repairs or projects.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a maintenance role.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Strong proficiency in general repair work, minor plumbing, and basic gardening and landscaping.
- Experience in working with animals.
- Ability to handle animal feeding, watering, and basic care tasks.
- Capable of occasionally cleaning and maintaining animal pens to ensure cleanliness and animal welfare.
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle various manual tasks.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Willingness to adapt to a flexible schedule, which may include a weekend day.
- Strong communication skills and a cooperative attitude towards team members and farm management.

Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory):

- Experience working on a farm or in a rural setting.
- Basic carpentry and electrical knowledge.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
