**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare morning snacks for the children, following the daycare's menu plan
- Ensure all meals are nutritious, age-appropriate and, adhere to any dietary restrictions or allergies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Properly store, label and date all food items.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment after each meal preparation, following proper washing/sanitizing procedures
- Collaborate with daycare staff to accommodate any special dietary needs or requests
- Follow all food safety guidelines and ensure that all meals are served at appropriate temperatures and times.

**Requirements**:

- First Aid and CPR
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate
- Previous experience in cooking or food preparation, preferably in a childcare or school setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
