ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

**Position Summary**
The incumbent is responsible to accomplish the proper inventory of warehouse trailers, outside moulders components and ensuring that work order receipts are put in the proper location, verifying that the right quantity is shipped correctly.

**Key Duties And Responsibilities**
- Inventory control for “negative inventory”, includes: retrieve a print-out of negative inventory list by location, verify that items come in the inventory list daily, verify what items were used, what work order, model and what department is using the parts.
- Responsible for working closely with supervisors to track the negative inventory and investigate to fix discrepancies.
- Print tag list for cycle count by location (Serialized) and ABCD, verify visual count for two warehouses, and perform a physical count for the locations as per tag list.
- Enter/maintain all data received from physical count into visual, and investigate the left over parts.
- Prepare a weekly report for responsibility of negative inventory, and monthly report for cycle count for the two warehouses.
- Responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts.
- Inventory control for "PROD" location. Analyze location and ensure accuracy.
- Compile records of amount, type and value of material or stock on hand. Monitors reorder points and initiates action to replenish packaging components, skids and Foil.
- Responsible for preparing Monthly Inventory Adjustment Report.(Top Ten Adjustments)
- Review monthly "Dead Stock" report, provide analysis and make adjustments.
- Reconcile discrepancies in inventories. Investigate where needed.
- Monitor scanners in order to troubleshoot problems, and send out for repair if necessary.
- Ensure material usage accuracy by performing a daily review of material usage versus production work orders.
- Review shelf-life indicators on necessary materials, confirm with Buyer, and either update the shelf life indicator per Buyer’s instruction after they have confirmed with the supplier or proceed with an inventory disposition.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS

**Education Required**
High School Diploma or Equivalent

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

**Work Experience Required**
- Some warehousing/inventory experience preferred.
- 2 - 5 years knowledge of inventory controls & accounting desired.

**Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired**
- Strong communication skills.
- Must have good interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact well with other departments.
- Must be a quick learner, good problem solver and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Computer literacy a must with established knowledge in Word, Excel and Power Point as well as the Internet.
- Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Forklift certificate is a must, to assist in moving materials and products.
- Must be a person of integrity and trustworthiness.
