First stop gas station is a small business in Pugwash, NS B0K 0B2. We are professional and agile.

The service station manager is resonsible for the day to day operations of the site. Responsibilities include, any of the operations, merchandising, accounting and human resources responsibilities. The manager is also responsible for the training of new employees.

**Store Manager Job Duties**:

- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations of the Gas station.
- Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Promotes general discipline within the work area.
- Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Ensures availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories.
- Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends.
- Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
- Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
- Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
- Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program,operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Ensure quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
- Ensure staff follow recipes and company standards to ensure quality products.
- Make certain that all team members are providing excellent customer service and motivate
- Ambience and overall atmosphere within your store

**Store Manager Skills and Qualifications**:
Customer Focus, Tracking Budget Expenses, Pricing, Vendor Relationships, Market Knowledge, Staffing, Results Driven, Strategic Planning, Management Proficiency, Client Relationships, Verbal Communication, 1 Year experience in the kitchen

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 3 years (preferred)
