Commercial Autobody Painter

**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- **Surface Preparation**: Prepare commercial vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces to be painted, ensuring proper adhesion of paint materials.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards, making any necessary touch-ups or corrections as needed.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Maintain and clean painting equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Report any equipment issues for timely repairs.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment, to create a safe working environment.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other team members, including collision repair technicians, to coordinate and complete projects efficiently.
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- **Experience**: Must have Red Seal ticket or relevant experience
- **Knowledge**: Understanding of paint properties, drying times, and environmental conditions affecting the painting process.
- **Attention to Detail**: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
- **Safety Awareness**: Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines in a workshop environment.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- **Certifications**: Possession of relevant certifications in autobody painting is a plus.
