Stilmas Americas is the hub for selling, engineering, manufacturing and servicing Pharmaceutical Water equipment in North America, offering a complete range of technologies in the North American Pharmaceutical market.

Stilmas Americas is currently seeking an

**Associate Buyer**

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager the Associate Buyer will be responsible for purchasing materials, components, goods and services and provide purchasing assistance and support to the Manufacturing Planner and Management.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for procurement of materials in a multiple facility manufacturing, service and distribution environment.
- Issue purchase orders and change orders via MRP/ERP for assigned commodities, ensure that proper internal documentation (requisitions/approvals) and external documentation (specifications, drawings) are provided by requestors and to suppliers.
- Utilize ERP reports to ensure adequate inventory of purchased material is maintained to meet manufacturing/service requirements.
- Perform expediting duties to ensure timely delivery of parts from vendors.
- Communicate with Production Planner for timely and current information regarding material availability.
- Perform Request for Quotes, select existing and/or source new suppliers, negotiate price and lead time with suppliers and maintain this information in appropriate system databases.
- Assist with new part set up in ERP system (inventory, finished goods and expense items)
- Maintain ERP system up to date with current standard cost and price.
- Provide administrative support services to the Purchasing Department.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized departmental filing system.
- Work with Quality Department to return discrepant materials to supplier for disposition per the Material Review Board process, and work with Receiving, Quality, and Accounts Payable in resolving any receiving issues for purchased materials.
- Any other duties that may be requested.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION**:

- High school diploma or equivalent GED. 1-3 years’ experience in purchasing stock/catalog/expediting. Procurement and Supply Chain Management Diploma (SCMAO) desirable.
- Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PIVOT TABLE, etc.)
- Good understanding of Incoterms (2020)
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ability to deal with vendor and issues in a confident professional manner.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Outstanding analytical, verbal, and written communication skills along with the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization both inside and outside the company. Follow up on actions and advise Supply Chain Manager on critical issues.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
