Dance Teacher - Jazz & Creative Dance

Part Time: 2-10 hours a week |Shift times & days: TBA

Rise Arts Company is looking for a Dance Teacher to lead their recreational Jazz and/or Creative Dance programs for children 3-8 in the Tri-Cities.

Qualifications:

- Have a background in dance, specifically in Jazz.
- Have a joy and passion working with children ages 3-8 years old.
- Must have experience lesson planning and leading a range of activities to children and/or youth.
- Must be comfortable leading programs to groups of 15+ participants.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate with managers, co-workers, site staff, parents & children.
- Must be highly reliable, punctual and responsible.
- Have the ability to create a safe and welcoming space for children and youth to explore their love for creativity.

Certifications/Licenses:

- Current first-aid certificate.
- Drivers license.
- Must complete a Police Information Check.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Hourly wage: Starting at $20.00/hr
